Back To School Goodies & Must Haves

It is almost that time of year! I feel like there are two kinds of people in this world. Those who squeal with excitement when Target puts their school supplies out and those that run away as fast as they can avoiding it at all cost. I always loved back to school time and starting each school year fresh!

One of my favorite items to get before school started was a good bag. The items I have shown below are great options for students or teachers!

You can save a lot of money by packing your own lunch for school so you might as well have cute accessories to do that! The thermos, bento boxes, and salad container are great ways to add some variety to your lunchtime meals. You don’t just have to have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich!

Let’s be honest, teachers live for the fun accessories! It’s a close second to a serious stack of jeans passes. I’ve included some good must haves for the classroom that are great fo both teachers and students.

• Change up the look of your district issued laptop with a cute snap on case or some personalized decals.
• Blue light glasses are a great addition these days! Teachers and students are staring at technology for much larger portions of the day.
• Extended phone chargers are great for the classroom. Sometimes outlets aren’t in the most convenient spots so having a long cord makes life a little easier.
• Chapstick. Need I say more? This Aquaphor is one of the best!
• Teacher Lanyards for your school ID. These are a fun way to display your badge or student ID and keep it accessible!
• Under the desk fan or space heater! Every district or dorm room is different. Sometimes it is hard to control the temperature in the room so a small fan or portable heater can make the room more comfortable.
• Obviously a good planner is a MUST! I cannot recommend Erin Condren Planners enough! They have several options for students and teachers. They also have the cutest add-ons like stickers, pens, different covers and place holders!

This part is a no brainer! Fun pens and pencils make studying/lesson planning/grading WAY more fun! The pencils that I listed are life changing as well as the erasable pens. I firmly believe that you can never have enough Post-It Notes, so you might as well order them in bulk.

I also think that having a snack drawer is important. Nobody works well when they are hungry! Keeping a drawer of moderately healthy snacks is great for both teachers and students. Amazon has great options to buy in bulk.

This section just has some options to make your space a little more personal. Honestly, these items are good for your classroom desk, dorm room desk, cubicle, or home office!

The single cup Keurig is a bit of a splurge but if you can’t make it down to the teacher’s lounge for some coffee this can be a life saver! I also listed my favorite Amazon slippers because sometimes after a long day in work shoes, it’s nice to just slip on come comfy slippers while you wrap up work for the day!
