Weekend Style With Nordstrom

Isn’t funny how much your weekends change the older you get? Jake and I were just saying how we always used to get dressed up Friday, wake up and do it again Saturday, and repeat it again Sunday! Now, we are lucky if we put on tennis shoes that match our outfit! lol! We are always so busy running errands, doing housework, prepping for the next week… all the things! Other than a casual date night here and there, we are almost always in sweatpants/leggings/basketball shorts! I can’t say that I hate the transition into adulthood! lol! But, I am forever thankful that the ‘athletic look’ is in style now! My mom is always so confused when we show up wearing what we are, and haven’t just come from the gym! lol! What is your take on the athletic style? Jake and I love it! Clearly! lol!

We (as in, I), snagged this outfit for Jake at Nordstrom and he loves every single thing! Ever since bringing him with me during the anniversary sale, he has loved it! He says he loves Nordstrom because its so easy for him to find everything all at once! For a man that hates to shop, he appreciates being able to find his comfy clothes, nice clothes, shoes, everything.. all in one spot! Also, since Jake is a bigger guy, he has trouble finding ‘in style’ clothing, that also fits him, and he never has that problem at Nordstrom which is great!! The one time he did, we brought it to the on-site alteration department and they fixed it right up! Needless to say, Jake was pretty blown away by how convenient, and customer service driven Nordstrom’s is!
