Time is seriously flying y’all!! It was just Memorial Day!! What is going on here?? Growing up, I would spend 4th of July on Cape Cod. All of my family is from up North, and my moms side lives on the Cape! It’s seriously a dream… if you haven’t been, you need to go!! It is THE MOST American place on earth- white picket fences everywhere, ice cream shops, people riding bikes everywhere, the beach, small town parades…. it’s just Summer. When you close your eyes and think of Summer, it is Cape Cod. (If I were to escape and go somewhere, you would find me on Cape Cod.. it is my happiest place on earth) So needless to say, July 4th holds warm memories in my heart!

I know everyone’s July 4th activities are different, and may require a little different outfit choice! Like I said before, on the Cape, we would be going to the beach (bathing suit time!!!) the, we would be going to a lobster boil (dress & wedges time!!)… you get the picture! Ya gotta be prepared to have different variations of THE RED, WHITE, AND BLUE!!
Holidays like July 4th, really don’t annoy me as far as buying clothes… now, St. Pattys day… when the heck am I gonna wear kelly green again? Never. Never, is the answer. But, July 4th, you have a reason to get alllll the new clothes, that can be used WAY more than just on that one day!! Cause ya girl don’t buy clothes, if she can’t wear it more than once! I am ballin on a budget!!
