Not to sound dramatic, but I really think this program has changed me for the better. Let me start off by saying I absolutely love food, and I am the last person on planet Earth that you would ever find working out in a gym. I have always kept my body active but with things at home like YouTube workout classes, peloton, treadmill, etc. I have taken a private Pilates class that I loved, but ultimately just didn’t stick with it because I had to drive there and it fell out of my routine.
I am proud to say that since starting this workout program, I have not missed a single day of working out. There are so many things that I want to highlight about this course, so I really hope that you take the time to read through this. I purchased this program six months before I actually gave it a shot. I purchased it, opened the app, got intimidated, used it for a few days and then didn’t look back at it for another six months. I am so frustrated with myself for not taking time to learn the app because it is truly so easy and like I said, there are so many amazing things that I want to highlight. I 1000% think the price is worth every single penny because you get so much within the app: workouts, hundreds of recipes, different levels of workouts, depending on your strength, tips and tricks on certain fruits and veggies and other items that can help you hit your food goals, tips, and tricks of what to order at certain restaurants if you are out to eat, it counts your macros for you daily, AND SO MUCH MORE.
Again, I cannot preface this enough when I say I am quite literally not a person you would ever see in a gym. Every single one of these workouts is less than 30 minutes. Each of these workouts has three instructors on the video, all showing different ways to achieve the same goal, whether using different weights, different equipment, or just different techniques if you can’t do a push-up or something like that. So not only do they make the workouts super attainable but they make you feel so comfortable. There has yet to be a single workout that I haven’t been able to do. Not only that, but I do them in my bedroom or my garage with little to no equipment.
As for the food: there is so much for me to say! Prepare to hear rambling. I’m so passionate about food, so I think that’s why this part excites me so much. I’ve just always felt like I could not truly diet or eat healthy without giving up my relationship with food. That has been so far from the truth. Not only have I not given up my relationship with food, but I genuinely love what I’m eating and I have never felt better. Some of you may know that I had some major gallstone issues in the past. I was constantly sick and on the verge of vomiting almost immediately after I ate anything with any grease. I knew something had to change because I was doubled over in abdominal pain for months. Like I said, though, as crazy as this sounds, I was almost fine with the abdominal pain. If it meant I didn’t have to give up good food. I’ve just always mentally struggled with the thought of any diet.
This is not a diet!!!! I repeat… THIS IS NOT A DIET!!!
They have donut recipes on there, sangria, ice cream, tacos… tell me any sort of diet you have ever seen that has all that food on it!? Lol! I was blown away when I actually sat down and looked through the recipe log! And I totally understand what you are probably thinking right now…. “Ok, I’m sure there’s ice cream on there but it’s ice cream with no flavor that taste horrible.”…. NO, it’s not!!!! it is real whole food yummy ice cream!!! There is not a single recipe that I have made in this recipe library that I have thought: “damn…. Thaaaaat taste a little too healthy😖”. The meals have been honestly so attainable and so delicious. I quite literally mean with every ounce of my body that I have not had a single day where I have struggled to follow the meal plan. I’m not sure some of you understand the severity of that statement, but any of my friends that know me in real life and some of you guys as well… KNOW that I love to eat out, I love to order every single appetizer on the menu for the table, I just love food. Never in my life did I think I would have successfully gone weeks with following any sort of “diet plan”.
Onto the next topic! Hopefully you got the gist about how good the food is! Lol!
They make it so easy to insert your food into the app to track your macros! I have absolutely no clue how to track my macros or absolutely no clue at how much food I really needed to eat throughout the day. And not only how much food I needed to eat throughout the day but specifically what kind of a food. You can either insert a recipe directly from the recipe log if you were using one of the recipes, you can manually type in the nutritional facts, you can take a picture of your plate and it will use AI to figure out the contents of your plate and upload the numbers for you🤯, or you can simply search the food in the app and add it from there. When I tell you, they have every single product in this app…. It’s crazy!! you’re eating gnocchi from Trader Joe’s, salmon from Costco, cheese from Walmart…. While it has that exact product and brand in the app, so when you click it and add it to your menu for the day, it already has the nutritional facts uploaded for you. It is just truly the best workout and food app I have ever seen. It is so user-friendly.
Not only does it track your food and workout routines, but you can also track your water intake and fasting schedule if you would like . There is a whole informational center that tells you certain foods to eat to hit certain goals. For instance, I was blown away when I learned that a tablespoon of honey was 17 g of carbs. And newsflash, we need carbs! Carbs are good for you!!!! Good carbs that is!! Fruit is full of carbs and is one of the main things I use to hit my daily carb goal!! I just can’t stress how helpful the app has been and how much I’ve learned since downloading it. Your body really does need a good amount of food throughout the day…. The first few days on this program, I was blown away by how much I needed to eat to hit my numbers. Then I realized that it was a good fuel…. My body was burning through it so quick because it was good fuel!!! I needed it, my body was using every ounce of it, and therefore I needed to keep ingesting it throughout the day! I am here to be happy and healthy and build strong muscles and I truly feel so grateful to be able to have this app and change my lifestyle.
