I know that many of you girls are trying to navigate working from home these days, in what ever capacity that may be! Are you having to dress up for Zoom meetings or are you comfy/casual and just working away behind your screen? Are you running around chasing after your kiddos or teaching a classroom full of kiddos online? Are you essential and still out in the world working everyday? Whatever your situation is, you are doing amazing! This transition in to a new normal is kind of crazy and we all need to give ourselves a little bit of grace! We are all doing the very best that we can!
Sometimes when I meet with brands or have zoom calls I like to be a little bit more dressed up! I found this blazer at Express and I am actually really loving the whole casual blazer with jeans look. It just makes for a versatile piece that you can dress up or dress down depending on what you’re doing! Express always has great business casual stuff. They have always had some great pieces that can easily transform from work wear to weekend wear. I’d also be lying if I said I didn’t love their basics once the day has slowed down and I want to be comfy and enjoy my patio.
One of my favorite things to do to wind down from the day and get ready for the evening is to just sit on my patio and have my own little happy hour and 15-20 minutes of peace and quiet. Sometimes the stars align and I can make it happen and some days I just plow right through, put work away and start on dinner/bath time/bed time. Regardless, the little bit of self-care is always relaxing!
I’ve been trying to branch out with different wines lately. I am such a Moscato girl but I am trying to open up and try new things. Up here in Washington we actually have a ton of great wineries and I feel like I should give them a try.
