Woah woah woah…. cannot believe January is coming to a close and we have a ONE MONTH old y’all! What!?! That is honestly crazy. Things have been pretty great for us so far this year, which, if you know us… probably won’t last long! Hahah! Is that terrible to say? If you have followed along for a long time, I feel like we have the most random worst luck! Here’s hoping 2020 is different.. and like I said, if the year continues like January, I will be pretty happy! We welcomed our sweet baby boy, Cooper. Also, we ended up finding and buying our forever home. It is out on some land, and allows us to raise Cooper out in the country and around agriculture like we have always wanted. We start on the renovation in March, and I can’t wait to keep you guys posted and take you along for the ride.
As for Cooper and motherhood, it has been great. Cooper sleeps like a CHAMPION, and I’ve felt really really good. Don’t get me wrong, there are bad days… but I’m honestly surprised at how much the little sucker sleeps. Once again, if you have been here for awhile, you know that my family and I have had spurts of depression, and I was really worried about what postpartum would look like for me. I’ve found that taking advantage of Cooper napping, has been a game changer for my mental health. I have made it a point to get ready while he is sleeping. And on top of that, get out of my PJ’s!! This is a must! Jake took me to Walmart like two weeks postpartum to get out of the house and get some groceries. I ended up finding some of my first postpartum clothing items on this trip and ended up loving them! These pants are so fun and make me feel so cute and put together! Nothing like a cute pair of jeans and sweater to make you feel put together but still comfy enough for mom life! I will link up a few other cute sweaters that I snagged that are cute and a perfect intro to motherhood!
