Weekly Grocery Haul

  • Taco Soup
  • Fiesta Bean Dip (side dish/party dish)
  • Italian CrockPot Chicken
  • 5 Cup Fruit Salad (side dish/party dish)

Taco Soup

  • 1 lb of Ground Beef
  • 1 packet of Taco Seasoning
  • 1 packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dry seasoning
  • 1 can of Pinto Beans
  • 1 can of Black Beans
  • 2 cans of Rotel
  • 1 can of Whole Kernel Corn
  • 1 can of Shoepeg Corn (You can use two cans of whole kernel corn if you prefer.)

Brown the beef in a skillet and drain the grease. Do not drain the juice from any of the canned goods. It will make the liquid for the soup. Combine all of the ingredients in a CrockPot and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Super easy weeknight meal!

The soup is best with a handful of shredded cheese and some sliced avocado on top!

Fiesta Bean Dip

  • 2 cans of Refried Beans
  • 1 package of Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 8oz container of Sour Cream
  • 1 packet of Taco Seasoning
  • 1 16oz package of Shredded Cheese

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a small mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients except for the cheese. Spread the bean mixture in a greased 13×9 baking dish. Top with shredded cheese and bake for 30 minutes.

This is a great dish to bring to a football party! Serve with tortilla chips!

Italian CrockPot Chicken

  • 2-3 large Chicken Breasts
  • 1 package of Baby Carrots
  • 1 can of Green Beans (do not drain)
  • 5-6 Red Potatoes (cut in to small pieces)
  • 1 bottle of Italian Dressing
  • 2 Tbsp of Butter
  • 1 cup of Parmesan Cheese

Throw all of the ingredients in a CrockPot and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Pull the chicken out of the CrockPot and shred it with a hand shredder. Return the chicken to the CrockPot and stir everything together.

Serve with a Caesar salad and some Garlic Bread!

5 Cup Fruit Salad

  • 1 cup of Mandarin Oranges (drained)
  • 1 cup of Pineapple Tidbits (drained)
  • 1 cup of Sour Cream of Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 cup of Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 cup of Shredded Sweetened Coconut

This is the easiest dish to throw together! Just combine all ingredients in a bowl and chill in the refrigerator.

Serve cold! This is a great option for parties, showers, or cookouts! If I am being honest, I could just make it and eat it by itself!

  • 🏡 YALL WE BOUGHT A FIXER-UPPER 🏡 & trust me, it earns every bit of the ‘fixer upper’ definition.... That puppy ain’t cute.🤣 But it will be!❤️ We are so so beyond excited! It’s on a little bit of land and the perfect place for sweet Cooper to grow up!

We took yalls advice!🤣 When I told y’all we had to move out of our rental by June & we wanted a fixer upper, there was an overwhelming response saying- BUY NOW.😂 Naturally I got stressed, and so we started looking ASAP (a few months back) and found our dream piece of land. Y’all said this in hopes that we wouldn’t have to live through a reno. Contractors say the complete reno should be complete by June!🤞🏼
3. If you have been paying super close attention, you may have seen it on stories 2-3 times already.🙈 4. We finally have a HUGE yard for my sweet babies again and they love it!! Makes my heart so happy! 🐶🐶
5. We have always dreamed about having agriculture and now can make that happen with a few moo cows.🐮 // Lastly, I can’t thank you guys enough for all of your love.... I’m so excited to bring you guys on this journey. Somewhere that will be in our family for generations!❤️
