Okay, girls… If you are like me, and every other girl in the world, you probably hate forking out that whole pay check for new clothes. I mean… why would we spend so much on clothes/beauty, when we could use some of that money for food, am I right??
But with social media at a peak, influencers all around us, and the luxury of effortless online shopping, it’s hard to fight the temptations of treating yourself once or twice a week… or three… or four. Shhh, don’t tell hubby.
Dupes, sales, and steals! *Say it louder for the girls in the back* –
Dupes are almost always better than the real deal!
If you search long & hard enough, everything is on sale!
There is literally a ‘Blow Out Sale’ for every holiday now’a’days (Seriously- Like, Columbus Day Sale: Don’t mind if I do!)- That item you’ve been wanting that cost an arm and a leg, is more than likely part of that one day-blow out… and now you only have to give up your arm! Steal!
Here are a few of my personal shopping strategies:
If you put an item in your cart (Online of course- who has time for the mall these days??), sign into your account with that retailer, then leave the retailers webpage, often-times they will email you the following day with a discount code for the item in your cart.
A lot of stores have apps, if you regularly check the app, they often have 10% or BOGO offers available- 10% off tee’s at target? Guess I should buy 10… Ya know, typically how it goes… for me at least.
A lot of times retailers will have a live promotion in their site, but they also have coupons not listed. I always go to www.coupons.com to search my retailer and see if there are any promotions listed. Example: I was stocking up on my beauty products at Belk, and I did not see any promotions on the site that fit my criteria; I went over to www. coupons.com and found a 25% your whole order promo code- Steal!
